Vintage Zodiac Olympos Automatic Wristwatch

This is another unusual wristwatch from one of our favorite makers: Zodiac. Zodiac watches were a top-tier maker but sold primarily in Europe and South America, making them less common in the American market. The Olympos model featured an unusual coffin-shaped case with points on either side, near 10 and 2 o'clock. The case was kept extremely thin, allowing it to be worn regularly without getting in the way - the thinner the case, the better the watch's quality during this era. This model features an automatic movement and a date function. The dial and crown are both signed 'Zodiac', and the watch is in excellent condition, except for some light spotting on the silver dial, which is commensurate with age.
