Vintage Jabel Emerald Engagement Ring
Vintage Jabel Emerald Engagement Ring
SKU:33300085
This fabulous emerald engagement ring is an attention grabber - it catches everyone's eye as they walk past, glowing greenly in the case. With emeralds, color is king, and this emerald has a fantastic green hue, medium-dark saturation, and a glow to die for. It is set in a late-deco accented solitaire ring mounting (currently available in a larger size 9, sizable at no additional charge) signed by the renowned American jewelry company Jabel. It is set with two single-cut diamonds on either side of the emerald, adding sparkle to the design. Since emeralds are a type 3 gemstone, some inclusions are to be expected, and this one is no exception. The emerald has some feathers and fissures within the gem, but they do not detract from its beauty. Since the ring has survived 80 years already, it doesn't detract from its durability either. We have left this in as-found condition and would be happy to refinish it by request or leave the patina intact, whichever the next owner prefers!
Details: 18k white gold vintage engagement ring set with approximately .85ct square emerald cut emerald (5.8mm square, likely Colombian, minor oil only) and .04ct single cut diamond accents, signed "Jabel" circa 1940.
