This glowing emerald engagement ring has a way of stopping people in their tracks—its vivid green color practically beams from the display case. With emeralds, it's all about the color, and this one delivers with a gorgeous medium-to-deep saturation and an unmistakable inner glow.

The setting is a late Art Deco solitaire design, currently a size 9, but we're happy to resize it at no extra charge. Signed by the respected American maker Jabel, it's accented by two single-cut diamonds that frame the emerald and add just the right amount of sparkle.

As is typical for emeralds—a type III gemstone—this one has a few internal feathers and fissures, but nothing that takes away from its overall beauty. In fact, after 80 years, we'd say it wears its history well and proves just how durable emeralds can be.

We've left the ring in its original condition, but if you prefer a freshly polished look, just let us know; we're happy to refinish it or leave the patina, depending on what feels right to you.

Details: 18k white gold vintage engagement ring featuring approximately 0.85ct square emerald cut emerald (5.8 mm square, likely Colombian, with minor oil treatment) and 0.04ct single-cut diamond accents, signed "Jabel," circa 1940.
