These earrings are a staff pick! The oval floral halo earrings feature natural black diamonds at their center, making them an extraordinary find among vintage pieces. Each oval black diamond showcases a striking jet-black hue and exceptional luster, framed by gold petals and accented with natural white diamonds. This creates the illusion of a diamond flower, although they resemble oval halos from a distance.
These earrings are substantial, measuring just over 1/2 inch long, making them perfect for covering the entire earlobe. This is the first pair of vintage black diamond earrings we have ever sold—quite a remarkable discovery!
Details: Vintage 14k yellow gold earrings set with 1.50ctw of oval black diamonds (opaque, black, assumed irradiated) and 0.42ctw of round white diamonds (SI, GH), circa 1970s.
