Vintage Black Diamond Floral Oval Stud Earrings

These earrings are a staff pic! The oval floral halo earrings are set with natural black diamonds in the center- a true rarity in vintage pieces. The oval black diamonds are a true jet black with fantastic luster. They are framed with gold petals, each one set with natural white diamonds. The effect is that of a diamond flower, but they appear to be oval halos at a distance. These are substantial earrings, measuring just over 1/2 inch long, and perfect for covering the whole lobe. This is the first pair of vintage black diamond earrings we have ever sold- quite the find!

Details: vintage 14k yellow gold earrings set with 1.50ctw oval black diamonds (opaque, black, assumed irradiated) and .42ctw round white diamonds (SI GH), circa 1970s.
