This exquisite star brooch is a remarkable survivor from the Victorian era, when interest in spirituality, the heavens, and astrology inspired the creation of celestial jewelry. Crafted in 14k yellow gold, the brooch features an elegant eight-pointed star design with a stunning octagonal opal at its center, which showcases a vivid display of rainbow colors that beautifully complements the piece's eight-sided shape.
Old mine-cut diamonds set at each point of the star surround the opal, adding a delightful sparkle to the design. The brooch measures just over an inch across and was originally designed to be worn on a lapel. However, it can easily be converted into a pendant—don't hesitate to contact us for details!
