Sculptural Platinum Art Deco Diamond Engagement Ring

Crafted in platinum in 1925, this Art Deco ring embodies the sought-after design elements that defined the era, showcasing intricate details and the symmetry characteristic of the period. The ring's top features integral prongs that rise from the shank—split at the corners—to securely hold the center diamond. Surrounding it are pavé-set diamond accents that add shimmer and dimension. Below the diamond, filigreed panels and delicate scrollwork connect the top to the shank, while the entire platinum surface is adorned with delicate hand engraving and milgrain detailing. Altogether, the piece is a masterclass in craftsmanship and truly wearable art.

The center stone is an old European cut diamond, featuring a feather inclusion and a natural mark on the girdle. Despite these imperfections, it remains almost completely eye-clean and is original to the piece, making the I2 grade a great value and keeping the ring affordable.
