Rare Art Nouveau Diamond Engagement Ring
Rare Art Nouveau Diamond Engagement Ring
SKU:759362
This stunning Art Nouveau piece is one of our most beautiful antique diamond rings. The Art Nouveau era, also known as the Belle Époque, was a brief period around 1900 when artists and jewelers broke away from traditional styles and embraced the creativity and artistry of the new century. These designs are characterized by organic shapes, freeform lines, and a unique attention to detail.
This particular ring is European and crafted from rose gold with a platinum top. Its elegant lines create a sense of movement, combining beautifully with the sparkling diamonds to form a true masterpiece. The ring features two rose-cut diamond accents flanking a central old European cut diamond, which serves as the centerpiece. This 1/2ct diamond is set at an angle in a crown-style head and boasts a brilliant life, classified as VS clarity and colorless.
Originally designed as an engagement ring, this piece can also be worn as a right-hand ring.
Details: Size 5.5, Art Nouveau, platinum-topped 14k rose gold ring set with a 0.48ct old European cut natural diamond (VS clarity, D-E color) and two rose-cut diamond accents, dating back to circa 1900.
