Old Mine Cut Diamond Flush-Set Band or "Gypsy Ring"

This antique gold and diamond wedding band is a staff favorite because it combines the classic look of a wedding band with a touch of intrigue from the diamond, making it ideal for everyday wear. The domed gold band sits low and hugs the finger comfortably, featuring a chunky old mine-cut cushion diamond set east-west in the center. Although the term is no longer in use, these styles were historically referred to as “gypsy rings” due to their origins in Eastern Europe; this particular piece dates back to late 1800s Britain. Despite its age, the ring is in excellent condition and is ready to find a new home on a wedding ring finger or as a pinky ring.
