Natural Alexandrite & Diamond Engagement Ring 18k Gold

Natural alexandrite, the rarest of gemstones, is celebrated for its vibrant emerald green color by day and its striking ruby red hue at night, making it one of the most remarkable gems and the birthstone for June. This engagement ring features a 3/4-carat alexandrite, a large size for this rare gem. While the first known alexandrites were discovered in Russia, this particular gem comes from modern deposits in India. 

Unlike earlier specimens that showcased dramatic color changes, this one has a more subtle transition; it displays a pleasing teal green during the day and shifts to a grayish-purple at night. We still consider this a moderate to intense color change, and many clients prefer the cooler tones of this Indian material. Additionally, Indian alexandrite is significantly more affordable, allowing us to offer larger gems with superior cuts compared to other sources.
