Mint Tourmaline & Diamond Pendant

Before African paraiba-type tourmalines took the gem world by storm, rare teal, mint, and sea-foam-colored tourmalines were discovered in Afghanistan. These gems may not contain copper, but they glow with a beautiful, mint-green color, such as the gem set in this pendant. We tend to set these in white gold since it allows the subtle blue undertones to shine through the mint-green base color of the gem. This piece is accented with sprays of diamonds that are interwoven above the gem, lending it a sense of grace and movement. The gem is sparkly, having been cut into a custom "pillow cushion" by renowned lapidary Clay Zava.
