Mid-Century Men's Ring with Deep Blue Sapphire

This exceptional men's ring combines vintage and custom design elements. We started with an original mid-century ring mounting and enhanced it by using one of our natural sapphires. The ring was initially set with a small diamond in an illusion setting, but we saw an opportunity to make it even more striking. We removed the diamond and modified the ring to accommodate a larger gemstone.

We selected this natural Thai sapphire, which has a deep navy blue hue. Sapphires are durable enough for everyday wear, and this particular color serves as a masculine neutral. The ring is completed with a heavy wood-grain bark finish, providing a beautiful contrast to the white gold. It has a substantial presence on the hand without being too heavy, while also retaining a distinctive Mid-Century Modern appeal. It's simply cool!
