This little piggy was made in the 1880s and covered in sparkling diamonds—certainly not how the childhood story ended, but a delightful way to bring it to life! This fantastic Victorian figural pig pendant was likely made as a charm for a bracelet and is now worn as a pendant. Unlike most figures with a distinct front and back, this piece is equally magnificent from every angle! This piece was made in 14k yellow gold, then topped with silver, in which the rose-cut diamonds are set. These are old antique diamonds with a mysterious sparkle, the eyes are tiny bezel-set rubies, and the tail is the perfect twist of gold. This little piggie pendant is the ideal scale model of a pig in jewelry miniature form- sure to charm the next owner. While not signed, we suspect this is of British origin- probably made for a pig farmer!
