No need to use the Force—this stunning spinel engagement ring is powerful enough to earn a yes on its own. This gorgeous ring is a custom-made Art Deco replica, inspired by the die-struck filigree designs popular in the 1920s. We have reimagined it in white gold, featuring a cushion-shaped halo of diamonds that surrounds the center gemstone.
This exquisite spinel was mined in Mansin, Burma, one of only two mines known for producing neon red and pink Jedi spinels. The term Jedi spinel has ambiguous origins; some believe it's named after the color of a lightsaber, while others suggest these spinels are so vibrant they "have no dark side." Regardless of its origins, the name has endured, and these remarkable strawberry-red-pink spinels are among the most sought-after gems in the collecting world
Although this particular gem may be modest in size, it makes up for it with its striking color, catching the eye from across the room. This makes it the perfect choice for an Art Deco-inspired design and an ideal gemstone for an engagement ring.
Details: 14k white gold engagement ring set with a natural 0.70ct cushion spinel (neon pinkish-red, Mansin, Burma) and 0.11ctw of natural diamond accents (SI2-I1 GH) with NAGL lab report #1085005.
