A beautiful European Art Nouveau pearl and diamond ring, this antique piece dates to circa 1905 and is crafted in a combination of 18k gold and silver. The elongated design centers on a delicate pearl, positioned between two old mine-cut diamonds that create a graceful vertical arrangement across the finger. The diamonds total approximately .50 carat and show the softly faceted character of antique hand-cut stones, with SI2 clarity and M-N-O color. Their warmer tone complements the pearl's creamy luster and the setting's aged character, giving the ring an unmistakably antique appearance.

The central stones are surrounded by an elaborate framework of scrolling metalwork and smaller diamond accents, reflecting the organic curves and decorative motifs characteristic of the Art Nouveau period. Fleur-de-lis details appear along the sides of the setting, adding a distinctly European decorative element while creating a flowing transition from the elongated center into the shoulders of the ring. Additional diamonds are set throughout the openwork and along the shoulders, adding sparkle to the finer details of the design. The silver around the diamonds provides a bright setting for the stones, while the 18k gold construction adds warmth and reflects a traditional combination of precious metals often found in antique jewelry.

The open construction gives the ring an airy, almost lace-like quality despite its substantial presence across the finger. Graceful curves extend outward from the central pearl before sweeping toward the diamond-set shoulders, creating a balanced silhouette that feels ornamental without becoming overly heavy. The old mine-cut diamonds, pearl center, fleur-de-lis motifs, and gently scrolling framework capture the romantic naturalism that distinguished Art Nouveau jewelry at the turn of the 20th century. Dating to approximately 1905, this ring offers an especially distinctive example of period design, combining antique diamond cutting, delicate openwork, and European decorative influence in a piece that has retained its character for more than a century.
