Egyptian Good Luck Gold Gem-Set Scarab Pendant
Egyptian Good Luck Gold Gem-Set Scarab Pendant
SKU:22284655
We absolutely adore this whimsical and mystical gold scarab pendant. Scarabs have been worn by Egyptians and Egyptologists for thousands of years as symbols of the sun god Ra, representing good luck and protection. Although the exact age of this pendant is unknown, we believe it was crafted during the Egyptian Revival period that gained popularity in the 1960s and 1970s, coinciding with the global exhibitions of King Tut’s treasures.
This pendant is made from solid 14k yellow gold and is intricately sculpted to resemble a scarab beetle. It features cabochon blue sapphire eyes, and a line of single-cut diamonds adorns its back. The unisex pendant is suspended from a wide circular bail, making it adaptable to various chain sizes. It would serve beautifully as an amulet or talisman and can be effortlessly paired with any outfit.
Details: Vintage 14k yellow gold scarab pendant (8g) with .10ct blue sapphire and .09ct diamond accents.
