Edwardian Yellow Gold Lavalier w/ Pearls, Sapphire & Diamond

This elegant Edwardian lavalier dates back to the early 20th century, when changing fashion allowed women to wear pendants that fell on a plunging neckline—a truly scandalous trend. This particular piece features an intricate, feminine lace-like form, reminiscent of European architecture, and is then encrusted with seed pearls. Two natural cornflower blue sapphires are set at the top and bottom, with a hinged centerpiece in the middle, and set with a beautiful old European cut diamond.
