Custom Green Sapphire & Channel Set Diamond Engagement Ring

This custom-made green sapphire engagement ring is a show-stopper! This green sapphire showcases a rich forest hue with warm olive undertones, offering exceptional brightness and sparkle without appearing too dark. This is a natural and untreated sapphire that we sourced from one of our favorite lapidaries in Sri Lanka. The ring mounting is one of our modified cathedral rings, aptly named for the sides of the band that rise to meet the sapphire, similar to the flying buttresses of a cathedral. This allows the sapphire to be set lower relative to the rest of the ring, thereby protecting the gem and making the ring more comfortable to wear. No aspect of this ring is unadorned: the shoulders are channel-set with princess-cut diamonds, the sides are set with round diamond accents, the edges feature milgrain work, and the flat surfaces have been hand-engraved for a vintage effect.
