Custom Australian Opal Ring in Platinum & Yellow Gold

Custom-crafted in a striking combination of platinum and 18k yellow gold, this two-tone ring showcases a vibrant Australian opal sourced from Lightning Ridge, New South Wales. The gem's grey base tone enhances its mesmerizing play of color, with a steady blue-violet body color illuminated by flashes of green and red from various angles. 

To highlight the opal's directionality and movement, we designed the ring's mounting with flowing lines and curves that accentuate its movement. A row of channel-set baguette diamonds draws the eye toward the opal, creating a pleasing visual effect alongside the platinum "ribbon" accents. The entire ring is designed to sit low on the hand, providing added comfort and making it a potential choice for an engagement ring when worn with care.
