A vibrant azure-blue aquamarine takes center stage in this elegant pendeloque-style pendant. The pear-shaped gemstone showcases the rich color once associated exclusively with Brazil's famed Santa Maria mines. While those sources have become scarce, recent East African discoveries have produced similarly striking gems, earning this pendant the nickname "African Santa Maria."
Set in white gold to enhance its cool tone, the aquamarine is paired with a brilliant round diamond that adds sparkle and contrast. The generously sized bail makes it versatile enough to wear with everything from a classic chain to a heavier Omega or rope-style.

Details: Custom-made 14k white gold pendant set with a deep-colored, 3.62ct pear-shaped natural aquamarine (African, heat-treated only) and a 0.36ct round diamond (VS2 clarity, I color, Very Good cut), one inch in length.
