These fabulous oval blue sapphires were recently acquired from our favorite Sri Lankan lapidary, Anura, cut and mined in Sri Lanka (Ceylon). It is hard to find a perfectly matched pair of sapphires, as each gem has many subtle differences in cut and color. This pair is exactly the same size, shape, and hue, only appearing differently when the light hits one differently. It doesn't get much better, especially when the color is this saturated yet not-too-dark cornflower blue. Gemmy! These are set in classic diamond accented stud mountings, which add some sparkle but are still comfortable for everyday wear. These sapphires are substantial enough to add that blue accent to your wardrobe but not so large as to dominate, each stone measuring 6.5x5.5mm.
