Ceylon Cornflower Blue Sapphire & Diamond Stud Earrings

If you are looking for the perfect pair of blue sapphire earrings, look no further! These fabulous oval blue sapphires were recently acquired from our favorite Sri Lankan lapidary, Anura, who cut and mined them in Sri Lanka (formerly known as Ceylon). It is hard to find a perfectly matched pair of sapphires, as each gem has many subtle differences in cut and color. This pair is the same size, shape, and hue, but appears differently when illuminated from different angles. It doesn't get much better, especially when the color is this saturated yet not too dark cornflower blue. Gemmy! These are set in classic diamond-accented stud mountings, which add sparkle while remaining comfortable for everyday wear. These sapphires are substantial enough to add a blue accent to your wardrobe, but not so large as to dominate; each stone measures 6.5 x 5.5 mm.
