Belle Epoque Diamond Filigree Navette Ring

This stunning antique diamond ring is one of the most unusual pieces we have offered. Just after the turn of the century, a brief movement emerged as Art Nouveau jewelry developed, known as the Belle Époque (or "Beautiful Period"). During this era, fine jewelry transitioned away from the heavy and gothic styles of the Victorian era, leaning towards ornate yet feminine designs.

This ring features a marquise shape, also known as a navette ring. The entire top of the ring is handmade using platinum wire in an intricate filigree design. The platinum top is mounted on a split shank made of rosy yellow gold, which is also handcrafted. The ring is set with five old European-cut diamonds, adding sparkle to the overall design. Unlike jewelry from other eras, the diamonds are not the focal point; instead, they serve to accentuate the ring's beauty. 

This piece is incredibly graceful and feminine when worn—a true masterpiece. It is also easily sized to fit most ring sizes.
