Asscher Cut Teal Sapphire Halo Engagement Ring

Green sapphires, whether teal or not, are relatively scarce and were long overlooked by collectors; however, this has changed over the last 20 years, as they are now one of the most popular choices for alternative engagement rings. We sourced this gem from Madagascar, the primary producer of high-quality teal sapphires. This one is beautiful, appearing as a teal green with subtle steely blue undertones - almost a color shifter. It was fashioned into a square emerald cut (also known as an Asscher), which is quite unusual, so we accentuated this by creating a square halo of diamonds to surround the sapphire. Like the mysteriousness of pretty green eyes, this gem winks out at you from the mounting and has a captivating sparkle. The white gold mounting is substantial yet finely crafted, making it a tremendous option for a right-hand or modern engagement ring.
