This stunning aquamarine ring features one of the finest natural aquamarines we have ever come across. We custom-made the heavy platinum setting, featuring a trapezoid diamond on either side of the aquamarine and a European shank: a modern take on the three-stone ring design. The star of the show is the aquamarine center stone, which is faceted into a square emerald cut (also known as Asscher cut) with beautiful luster. This gem was sourced from an old collection of Brazilian aquamarines, so this is a Santa Maria aquamarine from the fabled Brazilian mines that have long since stopped production. While many aquamarines come close to this color, none rival the true Santa Maria aquas, a deep azure blue with no modifying colors. This ring was made to feature the aquamarine; as such, it could easily be worn as an engagement ring or on the right hand.
