This beautiful antique diamond solitaire engagement ring is a rare find. In the 1930s, most rings were set with smaller diamonds, as they were the more practical and affordable choice during that era. In contrast, this piece features a nearly 2-carat natural diamond—a remarkable and luxurious exception that would have been a true showstopper of its time.
The diamond does have a natural inclusion located under the table. Still, this inclusion is concealed mainly due to the exceptional cut, allowing us to offer the ring at an excellent price. This stunning solitaire ring showcases an old European cut diamond set in a classic design that perfectly blends elegance and durability.
The diamond is securely held within a white gold top, enhancing its brilliance and making it appear larger and whiter. Meanwhile, the engraved yellow gold shank adds a touch of vintage charm. Fishtail prongs hold the diamond in place, creating a distinctive square appearance on the finger.
This ring has been meticulously restored to like-new condition and is ready to be cherished for another century.
Details: Size 8, 14k two-tone gold antique solitaire ring featuring a 1.82ct old European cut diamond (I2 J), set in white gold fishtail prongs with engraved yellow gold shoulders, circa 1930s.
