Art Deco Platinum Pendant with Blue Sapphire & Diamonds

This fabulous Art Deco pendant was transformed from a less wearable brooch into its current form. The minute we saw the intricate platinum filigree and the fine sapphire, we knew this piece deserved to be worn more often than the brooch; as a result, this pendant was born. This piece embodies classic Art Deco style, evident in its elongated navette shape and the intricate geometric wirework of the filigree. The center sapphire is a focal point due to the striking royal blue color and the contrast between the deep blue and the negative space around it. The diamonds accenting the piece are of top quality and add sparkle without overwhelming the design.
