Art Deco Gent's Buckle Ring with Black Onyx & Diamond

This is an exciting listing for us since it is rare that we get to offer vintage gentlemen's jewelry, especially when it is rare to find Art Deco gentlemen's rings. This one was made in white gold, 10k for added durability, in the iconic stylized belt buckle shape. The heavy white gold setting is inlaid with a curved, trapezoidal black onyx tablet, wider on one end than the other, and one side of the shank features pierced design work. In the middle of the black onyx is a natural diamond, flush set, for a play on light and dark. The ring is a true masterpiece of sculptural Art Deco jewelry design, with a three-dimensional shape, interesting hard angles, and soft curves. Note- while this was designed as a man's ring, it could certainly be worn by women and on any finger.
