Antique Enamel & Diamond Welsh Dragon Brooch

This stunning Victorian dragon brooch is a true gem. Purchased from the estate of an Anglo-Welsh aristocrat, the piece was commissioned in France around 1890, featuring the heraldic dragon of their family as its centerpiece. Blue and red enamel panels frame the center dragon, detailed with white floral designs and separated by diamond accents. The dragon is encrusted with rose-cut diamonds, giving a fantastic sparkle. The brooch is crafted in rich yellow gold, but the diamonds are set into silver settings, adding depth through the patina.
