Antique Bezel Set Teal-Blue Sapphire & Old Euro Diamond Halo Ring

This classic antique engagement ring features a unique twist—a striking sapphire set into a century-old mounting. Crafted in America around 1900, the rich yellow gold halo design is adorned with large, sparkling old European-cut diamonds. When we acquired the setting, it lacked a center stone, giving us the rare opportunity to hand-select a new gem to complete this timeless piece.

We selected this sapphire to honor the long-standing tradition of sapphires in antique engagement rings. The rich gold setting enhances the gem’s unique tones—primarily blue, with zones of soft green that create beautiful flashes of teal. Unlike many sapphires that lean toward purple, this stone has a distinct teal undertone that sets it apart.

Its low-profile bezel setting makes it ideal for everyday wear, offering both comfort and durability while letting the sapphire’s beauty and sparkle shine through.
